What is the construction going on?  The toll booth/house is gone, and they're doing roadwork.  Will they be rebuilding the toll booth?  The trees along the east side of the road have been thinned out greatly, are they widening the road?  Lot's of stuff being changed, and it's odd when the budgets were supposed to be minimal this year

Answered most of my own questions.  The shelter/toll booth is being re-built, frame was up last night.  Lake thawed out a great deal over the weekend.

I guess the car that drove through it last year forced the rebuild?

60+ degrees outside. I want to be on my boat (But alas, it's still in it's winter nap)

Yes I was also at the lake this past weekend checking things out and getting the fever... and noticed that the guard shack was removed.  Mainly wanted to go down and see the new configuration of the docks.

Hope to see everyone on the water soon...

Check out the cameras on the home page of this site and see the lake for yourself. It's a really cool feature! You only get shots from the sail boat docks, or whatever it's called, but it gives you pictures of the lake when you can't be there. Helps with tracking lake levels for me too. Right now the lake is close to normal so you can get a good benchmark.
