We named our boat last year and forgot to share the name. We named our 1995 Sea Ray Sundancer "Liquid Therapy". See ya at the lake!

I get to post an update for our new boat.  Grin

This past summer we were able to purchase a 1993 Regal 9.8 Ventura.

She runs out at 35ft, with twin 350 mag engines pushing her along at a top end of 50mph.  8-)

She will be named “Bear Necessity’s II

She is teal green, so watch for her this summer and raft up for a cold one, Wink

We have been on I-doc slip 40 for two years now.

Bear.  Cheesy

I forgot to mention, we're also on I dock, I-5.  The cruiser we bought late last summer was docked there, so we kept the slip. Love it!

Had to post!

1960 Sea King with 35 HP Sea King outboard, restoration in progress.  this one will be getting a 50-65 Johnson or Evinrude and a bigger gas tank!  Max HP for the boat is 50 but I've been boating, skiing, wakeboarding, for so long, I think I can handle the extra 15, and the extra transom bracing agrees!

1978 Arkansas Traveler Custom 12' aluminum boat, custom engine, turbocharged 800cc 125hp w/ Arctic Cat Tigershark jet drive.  She'll do 65 on smooth water, and handles the chops just fine thanks to extensive bracing on the bow waterline aluminum.  A real piece of work, actually v2.0 since the first hull threw me out of it (during testing, no killswitch! learn from my mistake!) and shot around the lake at about 40, nearly destroying a few boats and finally took itself out on a 4 foot sea wall, destroying the engine and thankfully causing no damage!  She'll be polished up and painted this summer, should have finalized pics during the first week in june.

[pictures of both forthcoming as soon as I can get home]

Cheers!

Its been about 7 years since i was last at Lake Monroe due to military service. Its good to finally get to be a regular visitor again.

I met several boaters over at the Four Winds Marina. I am not a boat owner but boat captain at the lake. My friend recently purchased a 40ft Sea Ray 400 Sedan named "Red Top". It is located on G dock. We have been taking advantage of the off and on good weather so far this year. We are having tons of fun thus far.

I also may be piloting a 90ft house boat for another friend of mine.

I'm hoping to have tons of fun this summer. I'm looking forward to meeting more nice people.

I have a 2007 Manitou Osprey Pro SHP pontoon.  White with blue accents and biminis.  Twin captains recliners on the bow (Which my guests never let me sit in Grin)

I wanted something that would do everything. fish, ski, cruise or swim. This one does it all for me.   175 HP Yamaha on the back end gets me up to about 38MPH with a full load.  Turns pretty well too. Definitely not your grandpa's pontoon.

Haven't had it on the water much so I'm still learning though.

I'm at A-70. I have a 8 year old daughter. Normally it would be me, my daughter, her grandparents (my late wife's folks) and maybe one other family.  We are usually fishing but we'll pull the tube and play too from time to time.
