Just found this forum but have been boating on Monroe for years.  My wife and I have a red 2005 Mastercraft X80.  It's our second Mastercraft as the first one kept blowing the engine and tranny.  We kept getting the runaround until the President of MC got wind of our problems and gave us a new boat.  Gotta love the guy in charge when it comes to making the decisions. LOL

It is my wife's dream boat and we are considering getting a slip this year at the marina, so if any one has some advice to which dock is better then let me know.  Wink

My Wife, 2 sons (8 & 11) and I have a sea ray 250 sundancer. I grew up on Monroe with my parents when I was the age of my boys. We just recently purchased the boat. Just carrying on a great Family Tradition!!!  We haven't named the boat yet. It's white with aqua green pin stripes. We will usually be tied up with Captain Morgan and a few other sea rays in allens creek.

Sweet boat!  If you ever need a 3rd, swing over to B dock!

Further down A dock has a wider and nicer deck, but it's a longer walk.  Slips may be too short for your MC though.

We've got a, '86 Sea Ray Seville 16' ski boat.  We love Lake Monroe and look forward to getting out there soon.  The wife and I have 2 kids: boy 9, girl 12.  I'm hoping to get my daughter up on the knee board this year - not sure if she's up to skis yet.

We usually go to the dam to have lunch and chill out.  I'd love to get to know a few other families to tie up with.

We have a 22ft bayliner capri.  It's blue and white, doesn't have a name yet,  It was named "my pull toy" by the previous owner.   It is me, my wife and our three kids, 15, 10, and 3!!  We are usually pulling a big tube with our two oldest kids on the back!!!! 8-)

Hey sorry for the late reply.  I'm new to the forum.  Been traveling with work all year and just slowed up  so have some internet time.  The wife and I bought our first boat this year.  2008 Crownline 19ss.  We have two kids  11 and 9.  we love the lake and often camp with our camper at Paynetown.

Would love to meet some other folks with kids that share our interest this next summer.  We're already suffering the winter blues, ready for boating.

Looks like there are some oher crownies on here Wink

Used to be crownie, sold the Crownline and traded it on a Sea Ray late last summer.  Hope to be back on the water soon!

Cool!  We wound up with a 240 Sundancer.  We set out looking for a 260, but found a sweet deal on a 240 already on the lake.  After crawling around on the 240 and a 260, we couldn't really find the extra room, so we bought it!  Loving the cruiser!
