Fourwinds has built 4 new docks and turned A dock 90 degrees. All five of these docks now line up with the houseboat dock on the south side of the harbor.

I happen to like it a lot. My slip used to be between A and B docks and on a windy day it was a trcik to get in. Now I'm facing the ramp with about 150' of clear water between me and anything I'd run into. So not only do I have an easier time getting into th eslip but a much better view if I'm just sitting on the boat hanging around on the dock.

HAs anyone gone down there to see the new docks? I think there's 2 new docks of larger slips (12 x 36 maybe?) and two docks of 10 x 24's along with the new part of A that they kept.

They disposed of the old B and C docks.

The only downside is that I now have to drop people off on D dock for potty runs up to the hotel.  Ah well, into each life a little extra exercise must fall.

I haven't been down to see the new docks but sounds good. Will the old ramp be able to be used now or has access to it been closed off by the moving of the docks? I also heard they were raising the slip fees for next year. Is this true?

If nothing else post some pictures on here...  if you goto "Additional Options" then Attach, you can include an image in your posting.  Have a great Christmas.

Lot sof room to use the ramp. My slip now faces it and I've got about 100-150 feet of clear water between a dock and the ramp. (I hated maneuvering that 24ft pontoon between a and b docks in a side wind.)

I'll try to get a picture posted later tonight or tomorrow.

Got my bill. Rates the same as last year.

Well after a few days out to the boat I have to say I love the new arrangement. The only downside is the distance to the hotel and ammenities there (I'll have to drive around). The plus side is a much nicer view, more room to manuever, no more huge spider webs to break through (The journey from the D dock through B and C to A was like fighting your way through thick jungle if you got in after dark). And of course a much easier (and shorter) walk for me and my guests from the car to the boat.

And I seem to have more fish right under the docks!!

I've been told that parking may be a problem on busier days as the lot filles with boat trailers also, but the hotel lot was always pretty packed anyway.

I'm looking forward to a lot of great times on the lake (If it ever warms up and stops raining!!)
