Fine fall catch of fish
Rex Williams and some friends and family were fishing recently in an area farm pond. Even though the weather was a little cool, the group caught some good-sized largemouth bass, bluegill and crappie. The largest bluegill was 11 1/2 inches long. The largest crappie was 13 inches long.
The bass were caught on small spinner baits and the bluegill with bee moths.
The fishermen that day also caught some crappie using minnows.
