We had made camping reservations at Paynetown only to be called 2 weeks before and told our campsites were flooded. We ended up getting a couple spots at Hardin Ridge. They were very nice campsites but no place for a boat. We still had a great time just had to pull the boat in and out alot. We did some family fishing and caught several Crappie, Wipers, and Bluegills. It was a great weekend for me, there is nothing like being on Lake monroe whether the water is up or down theres always people to watch.

I should've went to Monroe instead of lake Michigan.  I heard the weather was beautiful, but up there it was 60 and storming almost all weekend.  Not to mention water temp up there around low 50's brrr.  Any idea what the water temp in monroe is recently?

As of June 5th, there were no courtesy docks in place at fairfax. What's boating without a challenge? Wink The old ramp could not be used but the new ramp was fine.
