Zack McCoy, left, and Vern Myers caught a 63-pound, 5-ounce flathead catfish at Lake Monroe on June 3. The two were using sunfish for bait and were fishing in the Fairfax area. Myers said it took about 30 minutes to reel him in on his rod and reel. Courtesy photo
