I'll be on the lake with some guests from out of town. Be tubing and fishing and perhaps just cruising around.
It's a group from the Christian forum I'm a member of. This is the third year I've had them up. Should be a good time.
What's everyone else doing?

Well if Murphy's law doesnt get in the way, I might actually get on the water this weekend. Was on the water Friday night and got launched and not 3 min into the crusing I was getting some smoke, and funny smells from the engine area, and long story short the sea pump impeller went out on me, so was WAY to much fun loading my boat back on the trailer without any power from the engine. But I got the new impeller installed and I am ready to go once again... I know if anyone is ever needing parts, give The Idle Zone in Martinsville a call: 765-349-9565 I called for the part at Fourwinds the part was $85.00 and I called The Idle Zone the part was $30. So, it was worth the drive to Martinsville to get the part. Hope to see everyone on the water... Safe Boating.

seems like everyone i know on lake monroe and down on the mighty ohio is or has had impeller problems.... I figure it will be best to do it annually before the season... the internet and boat shops AWAY from the lakes and such sell them cheap and usually for 3-8 bucks more you can get all the other minor parts and such to replace while you are doing the impellers.
i figure them to be like car tires... if you let them sit for three or four months and dont use them... drying out and cracking is imminent...
I have airplane stuff for friday... and then family junk on saturday so i wont see anyone on the lake this weekend... have fun to all and safe boating!
