The town plan commission approved the proposal Thursday, to be built at 5790 W. Ind. 46.
An Ohio company is planning to open the business, but first must get approval from the Indiana Department of Transportation for an entrance off of Ind. 46.
The nearly 40,000 square foot indoor and outdoor store is scheduled to open its doors next March and employ eight people.
“We’ve been working on finding a suitable site for this new Tractor Supply store for a number of years,” Bunnell Hill Development associate Keith Carter said. “Ellettsville provides a great location and a great market for this Tractor Supply business.”
