Anyone doing 'well' on the Lake this month?
Im hit and miss - cant seem to figure bass out this month.
One week - buzz baits; next week - jigs; next week - nothing.
Could use some help on locating them right now - nothing in Moores Creek - zilch last night!

Morning and early evening around 6-8pm.  I've had best luck fishing with worm lures (Red Shad in color) tied with a spinner.  I throw a couple small weights on it to help cast the light amount of weight.  Fish just seem to get draw into the red.  Also during mid day, find an area with lots of cover.  Logs, weeds, etc. and shade.  I've found bass lurking in those areas.

Also had luck with lures around 4" long and chrome in color.  Slow and couple jerks here and there.

I haven't had the greatest luck fishing for bass at moores creek.  Caught a couple where some fallen trees are in early evening.  I prefer catfishing there.  At the boat dock I've seen channel catfish sucking on the moss in arms reach!!!
