Hi Everyone,
I was planning on driving to Lake Monroe tomorrow in hopes of spotting a few eagles.  Can anyone tell me where they've been spotted recently?

Thanks in Advance,
Jessica

I have seen eagles all over the lake, however the best place to see them, and is near their nesting area is over near Cutright on the far side of the causeway.

Thanks Kevin,
I drove up yesterday and was in the location you were talking about.  Perhaps I'll have better luck another time.  I got a late start to begin with and didn't arrive until noon.  I was at the lake much of the day.  Hopefully rain will come soon.  The lake (as I'm sure you know) was so dry.  The only birds I found were seagulls.  Disappointing day indeed!

Yes the lake is very dry due to the low amount of rain this summer.  I know there is a certain time late in the year that the breeding area is off limits to boaters/fishermen.  And guessing this is when the eagles are spending quality time with one another.  I know as it gets colder I have seen them walking on the ice and snow at the lake...  so just keep watching.

Too cool Kevin!  Thank you for the video and link!  I bookmarked the dates so I wouldn't forget.
