Brothers injured in Lake Monroe jet ski accident

Two brothers were injured when they collided while riding jet skis. It happened at around 9:45 am Thursday on Lake Monroe in front of the Four Winds Marina.

The two men, ages 21 and 19, were taken to a hospital in Bloomington. Their father was also on a jet ski but didn't see the accident.

The brothers were identified as Edward and Miles Nuckools of Camby. Edward has a broken leg and Miles has minor head injuries. They both had life jackets on.

All of the jet skis were rentals.

Police do not believe alcohol was a factor.
